Both of these cookies were made from the same batch of dough. I did M&M cookies and double chocolate chip cookies with walnuts.
This recipe will make enough to share some with a gluten-free friend!

GLUTEN FREE CHOCOLATE MINT M&M COOKIES RECIPE:
**A NOTE ABOUT THIS RECIPE** Prior to making these cookies, first prepare the flour mix below. I realize that this is an extra step (sorry!), so as soon as time permits, I will convert the flour mix so that it's part of the cookie recipe, thus avoiding the extra step and having any left-over flour. In the meantime...these cookies are delicious and I hope you'll give them a try!
Ingredients2 cups gluten free flour mix (see below)
2/3 cup cocoa powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. xanthan gum 1 cup butter, softened 1 cup dark brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 large eggs 1 cup mint M&Ms + enough more to top cookies |

Tip: Cookies will be very soft upon removing from oven. Let cool slightly before moving to a wire rack.
